VividHR was born from a simple observation: CVs don't tell the whole story. In South Africa's competitive job market, employers needed a better way to understand candidates before investing time in interviews.
We recognized that video could bridge the gap between a paper CV and a first interview, giving employers a richer understanding of candidates' communication skills, personality, and cultural fit. But traditional video interview platforms were expensive, complex, and designed for global markets.
That's why we built VividHR – a platform designed specifically for South African employers, leveraging WhatsApp (which 90% of South Africans use) to make video submissions effortless for candidates, and AI to provide deep insights that go beyond what any recruiter could manually assess.
